Is this Global Warming: Live?

So what EXACTLY is going on with the weather here?  I know as a British person I must discuss the weather in a blog post at some point, or I may get deported, so this is it.

I feel like I'm in a strange parallel universe where I'm living in a sort of Truman Show style programme of rather epic proportions called 'Global Warming: Live!"  You can just see it can't you.  Live footage of the polar ice caps melting (actually we've had that already thank you Al Gore), or perhaps Daffodils coming out in December (don't tell me, yours actually did?). Or maybe kids in Kent playing by the seaside with snowmen?

I just can't fathom that 2 days ago I was wearing my big winter coat thankful that I had lots of time for a pedicure, fake tan, shave my man legs etc.  And now here I am boiling over in a pair of jeans (because said man legs didn't get shaved) and an old Who T-Shirt (I know, I am DEAD cool).

My children are both sporting flushed little faces and sticky down hair, poor little things are so overheated.  The irony being on cold days they are invariably underdressed.  My maternal instincts don't stretch to cover the weather.

Anyway I realise that this is in the worst possible taste.  Global warming is, of course, a serious issue. And one I support, no that's not the right thing to say is it.  I mean I support the reduction of it.  If you see what I mean.

Anyway enough already about the weather.

I am very excited to say that I will be 'blog swapping' on Thursday.  To the uninitiated that means I'll do a post for someone else and they will do a post for me.  So in case you're getting bored of me (like that could ever happen), you'll get a break.  Nickie from Typecast will be here to talk to you.  I won't tell you what about as she's a lady and you all know we are entitled to change our minds at the very last minute.

But it'll be fun.  (But clearly if you desert me for her I will hunt you down and kill you.  Well ok I won't but I'll be devastated.  In a VERY dramatic way.)

Now then one more thing to say before I go.

The Little Film Club link will be up from Friday to Monday from now on.  So that way you have more time to make the film and link up your video post.  A few people posted late and it seems to make sense to extend the 'viewing time' as it were since a video is a bit more technical than a written post or picture and takes a bit more time to prepare.

So there you go.  Still time to enter this week if you so desire.  I have to say I am really loving looking at the films, so thank you.
