Dandelion clocks and pretty dresses

This was what I wanted to write yesterday, but was overcome by the need to vent my fury at Mr & Mrs Huffy over Parking-Gate.

So today I'm going to show some pictures of my toddler in a very pretty party dress sent to us by Little Ones Clothing.  They are a family run company who specialise in childrenswear from birth to 6 years.  They very kindly sent me a few samples for my girls, which really was most unexpected but I was delighted to receive them.  They didn't even ask for a review.  How very sweet.

Anyway as it happens we've tried out a few things and the quality has been high.  The most important thing for me is that clothes are reasonably easy to get on a moving target, that they will withstand the punishment the toddler puts them through, and that they are soft and comfortable, particularly for the baby. But mostly they have to look pretty.  Because fundamentally I'm terribly shallow.

 This weekend the Toddler discovered the dandelion 'clocks' of my childhood.  She's almost got the hang of how to blow so all weekend I've been covered in them.  We got the paddling pool out too, and that naturally got filled with them "because they need a wash Mummy".  Of course they do darling.

She is lovely isn't she? I'm not just a very over-proud Mummy?
