Spring cleaning my wardrobe

Jasmine Guiness Tea dress at K&Co. I want this!
Oooh Spring is here (well for this week at least) and so I need to spend some money investing in womens wear You know what? These days I am especially good at being frugal where clothing is concerned. I am becoming an expert at finding new and innovative ways of wearing the same thing but making it look a teensy bit different. Actually I can't quite believe those words left my fingers. That makes me sound like a Stepford Wife (I wish), but needs must and I have realised there is more to life than expensive clothes (shoes for example).

So do you remember Kays? I do. One of my abiding memories of being about 8 years old was so desperately wanting a handbag from the Kays catalogue.  My mother told me she'd ordered it and every day for about a month I woke up and went to the front door to see if the post man had delivered it and then I'd check again after school. But he hadn't.  She hadn't ordered it of course.  But had this happened now, then I'd have had it delivered for free and on some ingenious payment plan so maybe she would have.

So Kays is now K&Co (they brought Great Universal and Empire Stores into the deal) and they have some great brands, French Connection, Diesel, Lipsy and Miss Sixty (ok I'm too old for that). But seriously have a look because they have lots of payment plans if you're feeling the pinch but want to treat yourself anyway.

I'm going to indulge in a spot of wardrobe refreshing, whilst looking forward to a day off with my beautiful girls tomorrow, followed by a night out with some wonderful girl friends who I haven't seen for ages.

Seriously the Spring is making me hyper. I'm just so bloody happy right now. Weird.
