Some Very nice kids clothes

Ladybird puffball dress from £18.00

So here I am in Philadelphia thinking that no one who reads this blog will be interested in the super intense leadership course I’m on, so what can I write about, when I am approached by Very baby & children’s clothes. You know the online department store? Turns out they have a huge range for babies and children too.  Excellent.

I’ve had a potter round the website Very.co.uk and it’s great, lots of brands like Mama’s & Papa’s, Ladybird (for which I used to do PR, many years ago when Woolies was alive and well so I was very happy to see it is still going), then some more designer stuff like Tommy Hilfiger,  Lacoste and Diesel.  They even have an X Factor kids range for the really obsessive amongst us *ahem*.

So the clothes are great, there’s a huge variety for all ages from baby to 16 years, but for me it has to be about practicality.  As you know I don’t have a huge amount of time in my life for shopping (more’s the pity) so internet shopping is brilliant, BUT only if it’s easy.  And this is, dare I say very easy (see what I did there?), you can sort by age, colour, brand, cost, customer review or category. They deliver the next day and offer free returns. There are also a load of different discount offers and other ways to save.

So well worth a visit.

Right, I must get a bit of work done before my next ‘networking’ session, which used to be known simply as ‘going out for a few drinks with colleagues’, in fact did you know that we don’t talk anymore we ‘connect’? Yes I know I’m cynical, but you wouldn’t expect anything else would you?

Coming home tonight – hurrah, I have REALLY missed my girls. Oh and my husband of course…
