Once upon a time I used to lounge around on the sofa on a Saturday or Sunday morning reading papers, watching The Chart Show (remember that?!), now I can mostly be found baking (at 7am, that’s fun, not), up to my eyes in glue, glitter and other ‘crafts’ or cleaning, tidying or best case trying to have a quiet cup of tea. Not on the sofa though. Guaranteed if I sit down for long enough for someone under 4 ft tall to jump on me then they will.
Which is why I jumped at the chance to review the Little Devil’s Lazybones sofa. What joy! The girls had their own place to sit and watch telly, which meant myself and him indoors were able to reclaim ours. Regardless of the broken springs and caked on yoghurt and other delights, we were overjoyed in a way only parents reunited with an old friend would be.
The sofa is for 1-5 year olds, but it is quite a snug fit for two, unless they are engrossed in something on the telly they have a tendency to start poking and fidgeting, this can cause arguments (it’s inevitable I’m afraid). But it’s gorgeous red leather with it’s own footstool. They feel very grown up having their own sofa and it doesn’t take up too much room. Tilly loves it and when she’s not on it it’s become a very special place for her various teddies and dollies waiting for treatment in her ‘hospital’. Gotta love her imagination.
I also have one set from Little Devils Direct like the picture to give away in a competition. Just reply in a comment and tell me why you’d like it and I’ll pull the winner from a hat in 2 weeks.
